Spiced Pineapple Pickups
Spiced Pineapple Pickups is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 20 oz. can unsweetened pineapple chunks, 3/4 c. cider vinegar, 1 1/4 c. sugar, dash of salt and 6 to 8 whole cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Drain pineapple chunks reserving 3/4 cup of the juice.
In saucepan combine pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves and cinnamon.
Heat 10 minutes.
Add pineapple chunks and bring to a boil.
Refrigerate overnight in a covered bowl.
To serve, drain pineapple and serve cold with toothpicks.
