Spiced Peaches
Spiced Peaches is an easy dinner. Made with approximately 1/2 peck medium sized ripe peaches, 1 oz. cinnamon (if desired), 3 lb. sugar (6 c.), 1 pt. vinegar and 1 whole clove (in each peach), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook syrup until clear.
Keep warm while peeling peaches.
Pack jar with 1/2 stick cinnamon and 4 to 5 whole cloves for each quart if you do not can peaches whole.
(I halve mine.)
Process in hot water bath for 20 to 25 minutes.
Yield
6 quarts or 12 pints.
