Spiced Orange Tea
Spiced Orange Tea is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 c. water, 6 small tea bags, 1 tsp. whole cloves, 1 cinnamon stick and 2 medium oranges (peel and juice), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Place tea bags in a big bowl.
Add cloves and cinnamon stick. Peel the oranges thinly.
With a very sharp knife, cut away all the white membrane from the peel.
Cut peel in very thin strips.
Add to bowl.
Squeeze the juice.
Heat water to boiling point.
Pour the hot water over the spices and tea bags.
Let steep for a few minutes.
Remove the tea bags; discard.
Add reserved orange juice. Strain liquid into glasses or cups and serve.
Serves 10.
