Spiced Chicken
Spiced Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. orange juice, 1 1/2 c. canned or frozen peaches, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. vinegar and 1 tsp. mace or nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine orange juice and peaches with next 5 ingredients in saucepan and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, dredge chicken in seasoned flour and brown in hot oil in large pan. Remove chicken, just to pour off oil, retaining flavory bits in skillet.
Replace chicken and pour fruit sauce over top.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6 people.
