Spiced Apples
Spiced Apples is an easy dinner. Made with 8 apples, peeled and cored, each cut into 8 wedges, 1/2 c cinnamon (red) candies, 1 c water and 1/2 c sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook candies, sugar and water together.
When candies are melted, simmer about 12 wedges at a time until they are transparent.
Transfer to a bowl and continue until all apples are done.
Pour syrup over the apples and chill.
