Special Baked Chicken
Special Baked Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. sliced dried beef, 3 large chicken breasts, boned, skinned and halved, 6 slices bacon, rosemary and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Run cold water over dried beef.
Drain and arrange in the bottom of a 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Place halved chicken breasts over beef.
Top each half with a slice of bacon.
Sprinkle a bit of rosemary on top.
Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 30 minutes. Combine soup and sour cream and pour over chicken.
Continue baking 40 to 50 minutes longer, depending on size of the breasts. This can also be baked longer in a slower oven if late guests delay dinner.
