Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Spaghetti With Meat Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (15 oz.) can (about 2 c.) tomato sauce, 1 (12 oz.) can (about 1 1/2 c.) tomato paste, 2/3 c. water, 1 small onion, finely chopped and 1 clove garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, onion, garlic, mushrooms with liquid, nutmeg and sugar in Dutch oven.
Bring to a boil on top of the stove.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 250Β°.
Cover and cook sauce in the oven for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, add ground beef.
(You may crumble or make meatballs.)
Cook 1 hour.
Add tomato juice or water and cheese and cook for 20 minutes.
