Spaghetti with Broccoli
Spaghetti With Broccoli is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. broccoli, 6 tbsp. olive oil, 1/2 c. minced parsley, 3 cloves minced garlic and 1 (35 oz.) can italian plum tomatoes, drained and chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Peel broccoli stems; cut into 3/4-inch slices.
Break flowerets into small pieces.
Set aside.
In a 10-inch fry pan, heat 4 tablespoons oil.
Add 1/4 cup parsley and garlic.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes without browning.
Add tomatoes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add all herbs.
Lower heat to simmer for 30 minutes, partially covered.
In a small skillet, brown pinenuts in 2 tablespoons oil until it browns.
Set aside.
