Spaghetti
Spaghetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oil, 1 lb. stew meat, cut in small pieces, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, cut fine and 1 tbsp. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oil in a large frying pan or Dutch oven and brown cubes of meat.
When browned, add onion, garlic, spices, tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste.
Cook slowly 2 or 3 hours, adding water as needed. When meat is tender, add mushrooms and liquid plus enough water to make 1 to 1 1/2 quarts of sauce.
Thicken slightly with flour and water paste.
Cook 1/2 to 1 pound spaghetti.
Pour sauce over spaghetti.
Serve with Parmesan cheese.
