Southwestern Bean Bake
Southwestern Bean Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 slices bacon, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 cans pork and beans (1 lb. each), 1/2 c. french's barbecue sauce and 2 tbsp. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook bacon until crisp, saving 2 tablespoons drippings. Remove and crumble bacon.
Cook onion and pepper in 2 tablespoons drippings until soft.
Stir in beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar and crumbled bacon.
Pour into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with 2 slices uncooked bacon (optional).
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
