Southwest Taco Pie
Southwest Taco Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pie crust, pre-baked 10 minutes, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 onion, chopped fine, 1 pkg. taco seasoning and 1 bottle taco sauce (8 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In skillet, brown meat and onions, drain.
Add taco seasoning. Set aside.
In bowl, mix refried beans with 4 ounces taco sauce. Put meat mixture in pie crust.
Top with refried bean mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
Serve hot.
Top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes.
Use additional taco sauce, if desired.
