Southwest Baked Beans
Southwest Baked Beans is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 6 minutes. Made with (15 1/4 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, (16 oz.) can black beans, (19 oz.) can white kidney beans, (28 oz.) can chopped, drained tomatoes and c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Drain and rinse beans.
Refrigerate 2 hours until firm.
Sauté onions.
Add garlic.
Do not brown.
Remove pan from heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir.
Gently fold in beans.
Put into bean pot and bake at 350°, covered, for 45 minutes.
Remove cover, stir and bake, uncovered, 1 hour longer.
Add more molasses or brown sugar, if necessary.
