Southern Hot Pot
Southern Hot Pot is an impressive dinner. Made with 14 oz. lean diced pork, 2 tbsp. oil, 4 spanish onions, chopped, 3 tomatoes, sliced and 1/2 savoy cabbage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Saute the onions in hot oil until transparent.
Remove from heat; sprinkle with paprika and mix well.
Place cloves of garlic in the bottom of large ovenproof pot.
Add 1/3 of the vegetables (tomatoes, cabbage, carrot, peppers, cauliflower and parsnip).
On top of this, add half of the meat.
Add another layer of vegetables, the rest of the meat and the rest of the vegetables, flavoring each layer with salt and pepper.
Put onions on top and sprinkle on vinegar.
