Southern Cream Cookies
Southern Cream Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream together shortening and 2 cups sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
Mix well.
Sift together, then add flour, baking powder, salt and soda.
Then add walnuts.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Grease bottom of glass; dip into mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Press cookie flat.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
