Scald milk and add margarine.
Cool to lukewarm; add to dry ingredients.
Add starter and flour.
Knead until elastic.
Grease bowl and place dough in it, turning it to coat top.
Let double. Make into loaves and double again.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes. Coat top with shortening when removing from oven.
