Sour Cream Sugared Nuts is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. toasted walnuts or pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
To toast nuts: Sprinkle nuts into ungreased skillet, stirring. Cook on medium heat 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
Mix sour cream and brown sugar in saucepan.
Heat to 223Β° with candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Stir rapidly until mixture has coated the nuts.
Spread on wax paper and separate nuts.
Cool and store in airtight container.
