Sour Cream Softies
Sour Cream Softies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Measure flour, salt, baking powder and soda into a sifter. Cream the butter or margarine with sugar until well blended in a large bowl.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift in flour mixture, adding alternately with sour cream and blend well to make a thick batter.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 4 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Spread into 2-inch rounds.
Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, if desired.
