Sour Cream Pound Cake

Heat oven to 325Β°.
Grease and flour tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Beat sugar, margarine, egg yolks and vanilla in a large bowl on low speed constantly for 30 seconds.
Beat on high for 2 minutes. Beat in flour, salt and baking soda alternately with the sour cream on low speed.
Beat egg whites in a large bowl until stiff. Fold egg whites into the batter.
Pour into pan(s).
Bake 80 to 90 minutes.
