Sour Cream Custard Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 slightly beaten eggs, 2 c. milk, 1/3 c. sugar, dash of salt and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a heavy saucepan, combine the eggs, milk, sugar and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon. Pour custard mixture into a medium bowl; set inside a larger bowl filled with ice.
Stir in the vanilla.
Continue stirring 1 to 2 minutes.
Gradually stir custard into sour cream; cover and chill. Serve over desired fresh fruit.
Makes 3 1/4 cups.
