Sour Cream Cornbread
Sour Cream Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. yellow cornmeal, 4 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In medium bowl, beat together the egg, milk and margarine.
Add egg mixture and sour cream to flour mixture.
Stir just until blended.
Pour mixture into an 8-inch square pan coated with vegetable cooking spray. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
