Sour Cream Cookies
Sour Cream Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour cream or buttermilk and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream the sugar and shortening. add eggs and sour cream.
Mix. Add dry ingredients. Dough will be stiff.
Add nuts, if you like. Drop on a greased cookie sheet. Decorate with colored sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes until set and very lightly browned.
You can use egg substitute or 4 egg whites in place of the eggs.
