Sour Cream Cake
Sour Cream Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/3 c. whipping cream, whipped until it starts to thicken (sour cream with 1 tsp. vinegar if not sour), 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 to 2 sq. melted baking chocolate or semi-sweet (if milk chocolate style), 2 eggs and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix the first 4 ingredients.
When ingredients are blended, mix together the flour, soda, salt and nuts.
Add to cream mixture alternately with milk and vanilla.
Batter is thick.
Mix for 1 minute or until well blended.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 minutes (about) in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Use toothpick test for doneness because of thicker batter.
