Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off.
Combine flour, brown sugar and butter in large bowl.
Blend at low speed until fine crumbs form.
Stir in nuts.
Press 2 3/4 of mixture firmly in ungreased 14 x 9-inch pan.
Add to remaining crumb mixture cinnamon, soda, salt and sour cream.
Blend, then add egg and vanilla.
Stir in apples and spoon over crumb base.
