Soul Food
Soul Food is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 or 5 small potatoes, 1 medium onion, bacon, salt and pepper and 3 or 4 carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut up enough bacon to line the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch dish. Wash vegetables and cut up to desired size with skin.
Can also add green chilies.
Add salt and pepper.
Mix in bowl.
Then put in dish and bake 40 to 50 minutes at 325Β°.
When done, add cheese. Melt and serve.
If you choose to layer the vegetables, add salt, pepper and butter between layers.
