Sopa Espanola
Sopa Espanola is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. chorizo (spanish sausage), 2 cans garbanzo beans, 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, 1 jar whole pimento and 4 tbsp. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Chop chorizo; fry 5 minutes in oil.
Add cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper and onion.
Fry until onion is transparent.
Add 2 cups of water; bring to a boil.
Add garbanzos and spinach; bring to boil again.
Let simmer for half an hour.
Carefully stir in pimento, cut into slices.
Serve with hot bread.
