Soft Sugar Cookies
Soft Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. softened margarine, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 egg and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla and almond flavoring.
Beat in egg.
Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Chill at least 1 hour.
Divide into thirds, roll and cut in shapes.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet on upper oven rack at 350Β° for 7 to 8 minutes or until very lightly browned on bottom of cookies.
Let set on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
Do not overbake.
Frost when cool.
