In a large bowl, cream together butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in molasses and eggs; add flour and spices.
Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls.
Dip tops in sugar.

Bake at 350Β° for 11 minutes. Do not overbake.
