Soft Molasses Cookies
Soft Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. molasses, 1 c. melted crisco, 4 tsp. baking soda and 2/3 c. hot water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together sugar, mola`sses and Crisco.
Add egg.
Dissolve soda in hot water.
Add to sugar mixture.
Add vanilla.
Mix in flour, cream of tartar, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and salt.
Chill and roll out.
Makes good gingerbread men!
