Snow Biscuits
Snow Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 3/4 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
Dissolve yeast in warm water, adding to dry ingredients with melted shortening.
Should be a real soft dough; add a little more flour if you want to. Don't knead.
Flatten to about 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on lightly greased pan.
Let rise for 1 hour and then bake in a 425Β° oven until light brown.
