Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. soft shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Soften margarine or shortening.
Mix in sugar, soda, salt, cream of tartar, eggs adding flour a little at a time.
Roll into ball (teaspoon) and roll in the cinnamon, sugar mixture.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400Β° for about 10 minutes.
Don't overbake.
Makes 5 dozen.
