Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening (part margarine), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour, sifted and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 400°.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
