Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 medium eggs, 2 3/4 c. sifted flour (plain) and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Sift together the flour, cream of tartar and soda.
Stir into butter mixture. Chill mixture.
Form dough into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in a mixture containing 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes.
Yields 5 dozen.
