Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine soft shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar and soda.
Mix together.
Chill dough.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in mixture of 6 teaspoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 400Β° oven for 10 minutes.
