Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift and add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut, then roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Place 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown and still soft.
Let cool and get hard before eating.
