Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening (part butter), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. sifted flour and 2 tsp. cream of tarter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Sift together next 4 ingredients.
Stir into first mixture.
Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll these in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 2-inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
(The cookies will puff up at first.)
