Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (part butter), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Heat oven to 400Β°. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
Measure flour by sifting.
Blend all dry ingredients.
Stir in preceding mixture.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. (Puffs at first, then flattens.)
