Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 2 3/4 c. flour, 2 tsp. cream of tartar and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Mix well until well blended.
Form in balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart.
Bake at 425Β° for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool before removing from cookie sheet.
Yields 90 servings.
