Snickerdoodle Cookies
Snickerdoodle Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. plain flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, cream of tartar, salt and soda.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Add vanilla.
Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
Combine remaining sugar with cinnamon, mixing well. Roll each ball in cinnamon mixture.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes or until the first cookie begins to fall.
