Snickerdoodle Cookies
Snickerdoodle Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. sifted flour, 2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
In mixing bowl, cream together shortening, sugar and eggs at medium speed until fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix at medium speed until combined.
Chill dough.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and then roll in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 400Β° oven.
