Snappy Beef Stew
Snappy Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. water, 1 envelope onion soup mix, 2 potatoes, pared and cubed, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In saucepan, heat the 2 3/4 cups water to boiling.
Add soup mix, potatoes and frozen vegetables.
Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
Mix flour and the 1/4 cup water.
Stir into vegetable mixture.
Cook until slightly thickened.
Add meat; heat thoroughly.
Transfer to serving bowls.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
