Slavic Cookies
Slavic Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot filling, 1 c. finely chopped nuts and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter.
Gradually add sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and blend well.
Gradually add flour; mix well.
Fold in nuts.
Put half batter in greased 8-inch square pan.
Spread apricot filling over this.
Cover with remaining batter.
Bake in 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
Take from oven and cool. Cut in inch square pieces.
May be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Store in tight container.
