Skillet Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, beaten, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 stick oleo, 1 pkg. dates, chopped and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Beat eggs.
Add sugar and beat well.
Melt oleo in saucepan, pour in egg mixture and chopped dates.
Stir and cook until mixture thickens and turns dark brown (3 to 5 minutes after mixture boils).
Add vanilla.
Remove from heat, add Rice Krispies and nuts.
Cool slightly.
