Skillet Chicken with Rice
Skillet Chicken With Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 chicken, cut up, 1 can green beans, 1 c. rice, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup and 1 tbsp. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
Saute in hot oil until lightly brown.
Remove.
Drain beans (save the juice) and add water to juice to make 1 cup.
Stir liquid mixture, rice, soup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 bay leaf and 1 cup of water into pan.
Bring to a boil.
Return chicken to pan; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is done.
Stir occasionally.
Discard bay leaf; stir in beans.
