Silverado Taco Casserole
Silverado Taco Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 taco shells, coarsely broken, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix, 1/2 c. water and 2 tbsp. dried minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, place half of the broken taco shells.
In skillet, brown beef until crumbled; drain. Add taco seasoning mix and water.
Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in onion and tomato sauce.
Spoon meat mixture over shells. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
Place remaining taco chips over cheese.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Serve with salsa sauce.
