Shrimp with Tomato Sauce
Shrimp With Tomato Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 clove garlic, 1 jalapeño chile, 3 tbsp. butter, 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes and 1 stalk celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Remove stems, seed and membranes from chile; chop chile.
Cook and stir chile, onion and garlic in butter in 2-quart saucepan until onion is tender.
Add tomatoes, celery, lemon juice, salt, sugar and pepper.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Stir shrimp into tomato sauce; heat to boiling.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Garnish with parsley.
