Shrimp Stew
Shrimp Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with shrimp (large, 31 to 35 count size or 36 to 40 count size) minimum of 1/2 lb. medium to large shrimp per person, sausage (approximately 2 pieces or 1/4 lb. per person) cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces, 2 ears corn per person, salt and pepper to taste and seafood seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Use twice the volume of water to the volume of ingredients. Season with a generous amount of salt and an abundance of seafood seasoning.
Bring water to a boil and add first the sausage, boil 7 to 8 minutes; then put the corn in and boil 8 to 10 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook between 3 1/2 to 4 minutes.
Drain all out, preferably in a colander.
Use the melted butter for the corn and cocktail sauce for the shrimp.
