Shrimp Oriental
Shrimp Oriental is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 3 to 4 tbsp. soy sauce, 3 tbsp. dry sherry, 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and 1 c. long grain rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Bring water, soy sauce, sherry and onion to boil in skillet; stir in rice.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Add shrimp, red pepper, pea pods and ginger.
Cover and remove from heat. Let stand until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
