Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 recipe micro-roux, 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 c. water and 1/2 tsp. each: thyme, crushed bay leaves and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Pour Micro-Roux into heavy pot over medium heat.
Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp.
Bring to a boil, then add shrimp and simmer about 10 minutes, uncovered.
Stir, cover, turn off heat and let set about 15 minutes or more.
Serve over fluffy rice (serves 6) with Jazzed-Up French Bread, steamed broccoli and Sensation Salad.
