Shrimp Chowder
Shrimp Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 large onions, chopped, 1/4 c. margarine, 6 c. potatoes, peeled and chopped, 3 c. water and 6 oz. mild cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook onions in margarine in a large saucepan until onions are tender, but not brown.
Add potatoes and water.
Cook, covered, over medium heat until potatoes are tender.
Add soup and cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Do not boil.
Makes 8 servings.
