Shrimp Cantonese
Shrimp Cantonese is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined, 2 tbsp. oil, 1 c. sliced onion, 1 pkg. frozen snow peas and 1 (16 oz.) can fancy mixed chinese vegetables, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Saute shrimp in oil for 1 minute or until shrimp turn pink, using a large skillet.
Add onion and snow peas; cook, stirring 2 minutes.
Add Chinese vegetables which have been rinsed and drained.
Cover and cook 1 minute.
Blend pepper, soy sauce, chicken broth and cornstarch.
Stir into shrimp/vegetable mixture. Cook, stirring until sauce is clear and thickened.
